Financial Services Headshots at The Rookery in Chicago

The Rookery is one of Chicago’s most iconic buildings! It’s also just as perfect for headshots and team branding sessions as it is for weddings and events. The incredible architectural details, light-filled spaces, and timeless style create such a polished backdrop for professional portraits.

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph headshots and team photos for a financial services team working out of The Rookery. I love showcasing work like this! Headshots and branding photography are such a natural extension of my wedding and portrait work, and it’s so rewarding to help teams put their best foot forward.

Each individual team member had their headshot taken in two unique locations within The Rookery – no backdrop swaps or artificial settings here. We used the actual spaces, taking advantage of the natural textures and gorgeous light the building offers.

One thing that’s always important to me when photographing a corporate team – being respectful of everyone’s time. Since we were able to set up right outside their office, each team member stepped out for just a few minutes to have their portraits taken while the rest of the team continued working. This kept things efficient and seamless, while still giving everyone a variety of polished, professional images to use.
