Two iconic Chicago locations in one unforgettable wedding day… Yes, please!

Ania & Aashish’s wedding day was equal parts timeless and stylish, with a celebration that unfolded across some of the city’s most beautiful backdrops. They began the day getting ready at the historic Warwick Allerton, one of my favorite downtown hotels. The light-filled rooms, elegant architecture, and warm hospitality from the Allerton team made it a dream to photograph. (And yes, I’d love to be back for more wedding days here!)

Ania’s gown featured the most beautiful train – romantic, flowing, and perfect for portraits. Meanwhile, Aashish looked incredibly sharp in a light-colored suit that added just the right amount of summer flair. Together, they brought modern elegance to every part of the day.

An Iconic Chicago Wedding Day

The ceremony took place at one of Chicago’s most iconic churches: St. Alphonsus. With its soaring ceilings, stained glass, and ornate architecture, this church is truly a showstopper. It’s a place I’ve long admired, and I was so grateful to photograph a wedding in this remarkable space.

Afterwards, we hopped on a trolley and made our way to Olive Park for portraits. With the lakefront breeze, skyline views, and boats filling the harbor… It was the perfect setting to capture a little downtown magic.

Later that evening, it was back to the Warwick Allerton, where Ania & Aashish danced the night away with their favorite people under the crystal chandeliers in the 23rd-floor ballroom. From heartfelt moments to a packed dance floor, the celebration was full of joy from start to finish.
