Graduation portraits at the University of Illinois? Count me in! There is something incredibly special about being on campus during graduation season, and last year’s University of Illinois Champaign Urbana cap and gown sessions were no exception! Warm spring weather had finally arrived, the trees were green again, and there was an unmistakable energy and excitement in the air!
I loved celebrating these Class of 2025 graduates right where so many important memories were made. College graduation portraits are just as meaningful as high school senior photos. I truly believe they deserve to document their college grads on campus before graduation day arrives. These sessions are a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate everything it took to reach this milestone.
For these portraits, we featured several iconic locations across the UIUC campus, including the Memorial Stadium columns, the historic Harker Gateway Alumni Arch, and Foellinger Auditorium alongside the English Building on the main quad. Each location adds its own sense of history and school pride, making the images feel so personal and timeless. Just what we love!
I offer graduation cap and gown sessions for both individuals and groups. Group sessions always include individual portraits of each graduate, so everyone walks away with images that feel uniquely their own. These sessions feel relaxed and highlight both the achievement and the joy of this moment.
