Stasia K Events Branding Session at The Crawford

This branding session was such a fun one! It beautifully bridges the gap between my wedding work (that I absolutely love!) and the branding, headshot, and commercial photography work that I equally love. Bonus: I adore this venue and would love to photograph a wedding – or more creative sessions – here at The Crawford in the future!

Meet the team behind Stasia K Events! Sue and I first met by chance at a wedding several summers ago. She was the planner, I was the photographer, and we hit it off immediately. Since then, we’ve stayed in touch and had the joy of celebrating several amazing couples together.

So when Sue reached out about updating branding photos for her business and team at Stasia K Events, I knew we’d create something stylish, meaningful, and true to her brand. We chose The Crawford in Naperville – a gorgeous, modern venue with an upscale glam aesthetic that perfectly reflects the brand.

My favorite parts of this branding session were:

• A neutral color palette of white, khaki, taupe, gold, and black – polished, professional, and timeless.
• Coordinated (but not matching!) outfits that felt elevated and cohesive without being too uniform.
• Choosing a space that actually embodied the look and feel of Stasia K Events – thoughtful, elevated, and current.

 

From architectural details to soft seating areas and natural light – we made the most of The Crawford’s beautiful and varied spaces. This approach gave the team a wide range of images they can use for marketing, social, and beyond.

And because all great sessions deserve a celebration… The team wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner at Gia Mia in downtown Naperville.
