Morton Arboretum Summer Wedding Day

Kelly and Aneesh’s summer Morton Arboretum wedding was the perfect blend of florals, romance, and lots of fun. As a Chicago photographer, I always love photographing at this venue because it offers such beautiful outdoor portrait locations. This wedding day was no exception!

Kelly and Aneesh are college sweethearts who met at the University of Illinois. They now live in San Francisco, chasing their professional dreams. They decided to come home to the Midwest to marry each other surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Morton Arboretum truly provided the most stunning backdrop for their celebration.

Florals, Romance, & Fun

Their design palette, inspired by the colors of a sunset, came to life through breathtaking florals by Yanni Design Studio. The vibrant blooms filled every corner of the ceremony in the Grand Garden and transformed the space into a romantic dream. I especially loved capturing their portraits among the towering floral arrangements after they exchanged vows. I was absolutely in awe all day at the amazing, beautiful florals which were a perfect visualization of sunset!

Inside the Ginkgo Ballroom, even more florals and elegant details set the stage for an evening of celebration. From the moment the doors opened to the final dance, the atmosphere was filled with joy and love.

Here’s to this unforgettable summer day at one of my favorite Chicagoland venues!
