As the daughter of a talented black and white film photographer, it might be unsurprising that I became a photographer myself. That acidic scent of newly developed film instantly transports me back to happy memories in my childhood home. But I didn’t initially set out to become a photographer. Like so many artists, I first dabbled in a “sensible” career. But after years spent in marketing, I knew my true calling was to document blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments like yours.
Today, I step into the lives of warmhearted seniors, families, and couples to transform their memories into family heirlooms. With a style that is true-to-life and focused on genuine emotional connection, I fill galleries with tasteful images that will never go out of style. I am drawn to neutral tones and soft colors and inspired by marble architecture and the pastel blooms of spring. And I strive to create beautiful art while also delivering a carefree experience filled with laughter.
When I’m not meeting clients for drinks or blasting Zac Brown on my way to a wedding day, you can probably spot me cheering on my sons at their baseball games, golfing with my fiancé, or mapping out our next big trip. If I get my way, it will be somewhere very, very warm, preferably with palm trees! I can’t wait to swap travel stories with you over lattes. And because I’m in the process of planning my own wedding day, let’s trade wedding planning tips, too!
I can’t wait to know you better as we work together!
Xo,
Kim

I recently got engaged!! … to Keith … and we are navigating the Covid environment to plan a wedding for 2021. Why I love him? He’s my #1 fan and supporter of my photography passion.
To Ryan (13) and Brandon (10), and I love doing all the boy mom things … watching baseball games, going on scout hikes and helping with service projects, chaperoning band field trips, traveling and cheering for them.
Plane, train and auto! Recent trips include Niagara Falls, Cooperstown, NYC, Puerto Vallarta, and Kauai. The bucket list of future trips is long … Charleston, New Orleans, the Redwood Forest, Mackinac Island.
Warm sun on my face, green trees, giant white hydrangeas, and sipping cocktails on the patio under the Edison lights with my girlfriends. I would happily live in flip flops all year long. Someday, I’d love to spend summers in the Midwest and winters in the South.
I WILL dance at your wedding reception. I love all music genres but country music has my heart. In high school and college, I spent Sunday nights at the line dance hall, and I still have a pair of pointed toe boots in my closet.
I WILL cry during the speeches at your wedding. The heartfelt thoughts from your friends and family get me every time.
I believe the best photography happens when a photographer is fully invested in her clients’ stories. This is why I promise to invest time getting to know you, and then infuse your unique personality into the experience I create for you. With open, earnest communication and a finely-crafted process, you’ll never feel unsure of what’s coming next, what to wear, or how to look your best in front of the camera. I ensure unmatched service, from the moment you inquire until your canvases hang on your wall.
I look forward to forever changing the way you think about photography. By focusing on what’s most important to you, we will fill galleries with true meaning, and by inviting you into the planning process, you’ll understand what’s happening every step of the way. Ready to work together to create the photography experience you’ve always imagined? Let’s begin!
