The first step in this journey is a simple “hello.” Just fill out my short inquiry form, sharing a bit about yourselves and the celebration you’re planning. I’ll be in touch in two days or less to continue the conversation. Then, we will find a time to meet in person for a consultation over coffee (or something a little stronger). It’s vital to me to build genuine connections with each of my couples...and that begins even before you book!

step one | share your story

Before we meet, I’ll dive into preparation. I’ll learn more about your venue, prepare an example gallery that matches the celebration you’ve described, and even pull together a mock-up timeline from what I know about your day. Bring all your questions, and I’ll bring a sample heirloom album for you to flip through! This way, during our consultation you can truly imagine what our experience working together will be like, and you’ll leave feeling informed enough to make a great decision about whether or not I’m the right fit for your day.

Step Two | envision your experience

Once you’ve decided you’re ready to book, I’ll send the agreement and retainer invoice your way. It’s important to me that I make clear this agreement is not one-sided. In it, I promise to deliver top-notch quality and a one-of-a-kind experience, while sticking to a clearly defined timeline. I want to ensure you feel confident in your investment through every step of the journey!

step three | make it official

Immediately after booking, we will dive right into the first draft of your wedding day timeline. With an expertise gathered through my time in the industry, I can help you effortlessly craft the ideal timeline. Don’t stress about traveling between venues, building in wiggle room, and getting the best light for photos. I’ll keep an eye on all of it. And with your timeline created early, you’ll be able to share it with all of your vendors well in advance, eliminating chances for confusion.

step four | create your timeline

While we are creating your timeline, I’ll also be dreaming up the perfect engagement session for you. Using the information you shared with me during our consultation, I’ll gather location suggestions, wardrobe ideas, and styling options. Talk about a done-for-you experience! Then, when your engagement session day arrives, you’ll just be able to connect in front of the camera, enjoying a little time to breathe with the one you love most!

step five | Document your engagement

Just two weeks after your engagement session, you’ll have your full, 50-photo gallery to enjoy. But that doesn’t mean I disappear afterward! From now until your wedding day, I’ll send emails and texts filled with tips and tricks to ensure your special day is nothing short of perfect. And if you ever have questions or concerns, I’m always just a message or phone call away!

step six | stay in touch

As your wedding month arrives, we will go all in on finalizing important details. From the last draft of your wedding day timeline to an in-depth questionnaire, I’ll gather all of the information I need to make your luxury wedding photography experience remarkable. If I’ve never photographed your venue, I’ll book a walk-through so I arrive prepared. I’ll even introduce myself to each of your vendors so they know who I am, what I need from them, and how I can give them a hand on your wedding day!

step seven | Finalize the details

After months of meticulous planning, your astonishing vision will come to life! Through our conversations, I’ll be ready to document the interactions and details that mean the most to you while you simply enjoy each moment that comes your way. So, go on and hit the dance floor, beautiful bride!

step eight | say "i do"

Two days after your wedding, you’ll be able to enjoy a social media sneak peek, and three days after that, you’ll receive a 50-image mini gallery to enjoy! Meanwhile, I’ll be editing away on your full gallery. Then, just six weeks into your married life, you’ll receive the full gallery from your celebration! So, pour a little champaign, and revisit every special moment!

step nine | relive it all

The last and most important step in the adventure is to ensure your photos don’t just gather digital dust on your computer harddrive! Together, let’s create the albums, canvases, and prints that will fill your home with beautiful memories for decades to come.

They will! I’m proud to deliver consistent, professional images for every single client I meet. I’ve refined my classic, true-to-life style -- as well as my method of direction -- into an experience I can always replicate. This also means that my style is my style is my style. While other editing styles are beautiful, I do not change mine from client to client. My style is what I am best equipped to deliver well, and I look forward to sharing it with you!
 

WHAT DOES A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER DO? DO YOU OFFER THIS FOR WEDDINGS, AND WHY DOES THAT MATTER?

Some of my wedding collections do include an additional photographer. Incorporating a second photographer -- sometimes called a “second shooter” -- into your wedding day will work magic in your final gallery. Beyond doubling the number of photos in your final gallery, having a second photographer on hand allows your documentarian to literally be in two places at once, ensuring nothing is missed. It also gives multiple perspectives on iconic moments, like your first look, walk down the aisle, or first kiss. Finally, they help keep your photography timeline flowing smoothly. Instead of a single photographer trying to corral the family, one can take the photos while the other directs.




HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE IN OUR FINAL GALLERY?

On average, a KRP gallery has about 60 photos per hour of coverage. However, my focus is on quality -- both of images and service -- over quantity. Your gallery will be bursting with emotion, connection, and love, and every single photo included will be edited to perfection!


I'M JUST CURIOUS, WHAT KIND OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I’m a loyal Nikon girl! You’ll spot me on your wedding day or during your session toting two full frame cameras just in case one should stop working and a bag full of lenses for any occasion. My go-to for details is my 105mm macro, while my 70-200mm allows me to beautifully document emotional moments during the ceremony. I’ll use my 35mm to capture scene-setting images or large family portraits, and when it’s time for bridal party portraits, my 85mm comes out to play!
