High School Senior Portraits in Geneva, IL

Downtown Geneva, Illinois, has so much charm and character, making it such a fun location for senior portraits! For Ally’s senior session, we took a little walk around the block and discovered so many different backdrops, from charming downtown streets to beautiful architectural details. One of my favorite things about photographing seniors in a location like Geneva is how much variety we can create without traveling far. Every little corner offers something different, which makes it easy to create a gallery that feels full and unique to each senior.

After exploring downtown, Ally had a quick outfit change using my pop-up changing tent (the best investment!), and then we headed to a couple more spots to round out her session. Changing outfits and locations is a great way to add variety to senior portraits while still keeping the session relaxed and fun. We were able to capture a mix of looks and backgrounds that showed off Ally’s personality while making the most of everything Geneva has to offer.

As the evening went on, that gorgeous golden-hour glow made its appearance, and the light was absolutely beautiful! There is something so special about those final minutes of an evening session when the sunlight gets soft and warm. It was the perfect way to wrap up Ally’s senior portraits, and I loved celebrating this amazing girl during such an exciting season of life.
