Located in Yorkville, Illinois, Whitetail Ridge is one of those hidden gems that feels like a well-kept secret. The views of the golf course create such a beautiful setting for wedding portraits, with rolling greens, open skies, and the scenery that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. For couples who love golf, the course itself is truly a dream. But even if you’re not a golfer, the views alone make this venue worth considering for your Chicagoland wedding.

For Marissa and Colin’s summer wedding, I loved the contrast of their soft blue color palette against the vibrant greens of the course. One of my favorite things about wedding days is seeing the little details that make each couple’s story unique. Marissa and Colin celebrated surrounded by more than 250 of their closest family and friends. They truly created a day filled with so much energy and excitement! But there was one special guest who may have stolen the show just a little bit… Their furry best friend, Oakley! Including the people and pets who mean the most is what makes wedding days feel personal and unforgettable!

While every wedding venue has its own personality, I always love focusing on the moments that tell a couple’s story. For Marissa and Colin, that meant capturing their connection, the excitement of their wedding party, and the joy of celebrating this milestone surrounded by loved ones.
